New England Camera Club Council website

The Boston Camera Club a non-profit organization established in 1881 (see Wikipedia) is dedicated to the advancement of photography as an art and science. Club activities are held throughout the year while regular monthly meetings are from September through June. Programs are planned to interest all photographers, from beginners to skilled artisans. Guests and prospective members are welcome at any of the club's meetings.

 2015 Fall Scavenger Hunt

The 2015-Fall Scavenger Hunt is officially open for business, please submit your entries for any of the 12 words by midnight, August 28. One word, one photo, just one click of the shutter to create that photo. All entries need to be taken between July 10 and August 28, 2015.

You do not need to submit images for every word, just submit for as many as you are able to. No idea is too off the wall! Words are:


 


 
 
2014-2015 Year End Awards
 
Congratulations to all the winners in both the Electronic Image and Print (Latimer) Competitions, especially to Stephen Poltorzycki for winning Electronic Image of the Year with "And They're Off" and to Mikhail Tsatsulin for winning  Print of the Year with "Anhinga" and Judge of the Year, Rick Cloran, who did a superb job on the 1/20/15 Electronic Image Competition.
