Throughout the year, our club is proud to participate in various gallery shows and competitions.

On a cold December morning, Don Toothaker led members on a photo trip to Rockport, MA. Sarah shared the above photos of members in action (close ups of Lisa S. and Joe C.) and says "We basically met at Motif #1. Shot there in the frigid weather. Got fishermen coming in with their morning catch. Walked over to Bearskin Neck. Took pics there....a band even posed for us! Went to lunch as a group. Went to Annasquam Lighthouse. Went out for dinner in Essex. Had a ball!"

L to R: Susan, Valerie, Nancy and Scott photographing "The Cow Parade" in Boston during a club field trip. Members had a fun time finding cows thorughout the city.

L to R: Eric, Les and Mary were among the club members that attended the annualPittsfield Hot Air Balloon Rally in Pittsfield, NH. Although weather conditions were questionable, eventually balloons took off making a great opportunity for some amazing photographs.

Members also enjoyed a great summer evening at the Antique and Classic Car Show at Kimball Farm in Westford, MA. There were well over 100 cars, trucks and even motorcycles to photograph, and their proud owners were more than happy to answer any questions!

" During the summer of 2008 my brother and I took a trip to the Florida Keys. We had been out in the hot sun all day and stopped in a small restaurant to eat lunch. I saw these on the counter and thought they would make an interesting picture because of the dramatic lighting. "
