 PSA program on Flash Photography; Presentations on Depth of Field and Composition; Information exchange on various camera types.
December 17th
During this upcoming meeting, we will have our annual Mini Print Competition and a Yankee Gift Swap. The mini prints should be 5X7 inches and matted with a mat sized 11x14 or less.

After the mini print competition has concluded, we will have a fun Yankee Gift Swap. Items purchased for the gift exchange should have a maximum value of $15.00 and be wrapped.

Contribute to the Newsletter
The quality of the NVPC newsletter is only as good as the articles that are published in it. Do you have something you can contribute? We would like to publish more pieces written by the members. The article can be technical, a travelogue or just rambling about you and your camera on a quiet walk. We are not looking for someone to make a monthly commitment. The more members who take part the better the newsletter will be.

To submit a story, send it to Maura McCaffery at maura@devongracedesigns.com . You can type the article into an e-mail, use a text file or MS Word. You do not have to format it for publishing. We can take care of that. Attach copies of any pictures that are part of the article. Maura publishes the Newsletter on the first of the month, so you should get your article to her no later than the 25th of the previous month.

Showtime
A call for members to prepare slide shows for Showtime on January 21, 2009 and March 18, 2009 meetings.
We have three members now for January and three for March. We would like to have four each night. Please contact Walter Harrington, if you are interested in presenting a slide show.
