Twilight Cityscapes - Night Photography Workshop

Kristin Gleason, a fine art photographer from Boston, MA, will present her recent photographic series entitled, "Twilight Cityscapes", which includes over 100 photographs taken in various cities of Australia and New Zealand. Full of vibrant colors and crisp details, "Twilight Cityscapes" gives a unique interpretation of a cross-section of Australian/New Zealand culture, with scenes captured from iconic locations as well as several known only to locals. Kristin will discuss several tips, tricks and techniques for shooting successful night photography, including determining exposure, bracketing, digital vs. analog shooting, painting with light, using white balance and ISO settings, color temperature, and shooting in a variety of situations (dawn, dusk, stormy weather, candlelight, artificial light, neon light, fireworks, star trails, light trails and special effects). Kristin will also present several famous night photography shots and describe how each was achieved.
