Nature Close-Ups:  Nice and Easy

The nature close-up is its own landscape.  It offers a variety of  texture, pattern, detail and color to rival the grandest of views.  That view is never static.  The art of  “close seeing” seems to invite an even closer inspection, drawing us ever inward to the intricacy and subtlety that is nature’s design.  Realizing this design on film is nowhere near as difficult or technical as it has been made out to be.  The first hurdle is to explode the two biggest myths that have attached themselves to close-up photography.
