The teaching program will be
presented by Dan Charbonnet, FPSA, MNEC, Sarah Musumeci MN EC and Shiv Verma,
MNEC It will be a panel presentation telling you about all the unique and
different aspects and ways images are judged. They will go into what does well
and what the judges look for in Nature, Photo-Travel, and Photojournalism. Also
discussed will be the different types of judging; club, interclub,
Internationals, and outside magazine type of contests. Judging is a very
subjective thing, but this program should help you understand why your images
score as they do, and what you need to do to make them more interesting to the
judges to get better scores.Your three presenters are accomplished photographers
covering a wide spectrum of subject matter, and are all uniquely qualified to
teach this presentation.
At 2:30 PM until about 4pm we will
show the 34th Greater Lynn International Exhibition, made up of the best images
entered into the exhibition, on every subject matter and from all over the
world. These will be images set to music in a spectacular multi-media
presentation produced by Dan Charbonnet, FPSA, MNEC and Barbara Rozavasky MNEC.
You can see last year's winners at www.greaterlynnphoto.org on the Exhibition
page.
Exhibition catalogs will be
available to the entrants at the show, and we will present medals to any medal
recipients who might be present.
Hunt's Photo may also be there that
day with lots of photo bargains for you at their table. This is not confirmed at
this time.
