Tutorial by Harold Davis -  Creating HDR images in PS 5

 Electronic Image Competitions  2010-2011

This year we are going to double the number of electronic image competitions and have a total of six competitions.

We are working on a solution that will allow members to submit images via the BCC web site, instead of sending the

images in emails, as we did.  There will be three subjects for each competition. 

 Following are the dates and subject for this year:  

Oct 26 2010 - Open, Nature, Special- Creative

Nov 23 2010 - Open, Nature, Special-Color (Blue or Red)

Jan 11 2011 – Open, Nature, Special-Liquids

Feb 8 2011 -   Open, Nature, Special-Mystery

Mar 8 2011 -  Open, New England nature, Special-Patterns

April 26 2011 - Open, Special- Machinery, Special-Landscapes

February 22 - In Camera Creativity, a hands-on workshop, organized by Leandra MacLennan

Erik Gehring, Executive Committee member and Latimer Coordinator, is hosting an exhibition entitled ‘Barks of the Arnold Arboretum’ at the Taylor House, 50 Burroughs Street in Jamaica Plain, MA. Many of the species from the Arboretum have stunning patterns of exfoliation, particularly when they are saturated, so Erik has taken to wandering the park during rainstorms, with a camera, tripod, and umbrella in hand, looking for compelling abstracts. To preview the show visit:
